Speaker Guidelines
Welcome to the MoGIA Conference! We are thrilled to have you as a speaker. To ensure a smooth and successful event, please review the following guidelines:
Registration
- Please complete the Speaker Registration Form, linked above, so that we have your correct contact information, bio, and details on your presentation.
Presentation Preparation
- Content Relevance: Ensure your presentation aligns with the conference theme and is relevant to the interests of the attendees.
- Timing: Sessions are 45 minutes. Assuming it will take a few minutes for people to get seated, that leaves 35-40 minutes for your presentation.
- Equipment: Laptops and projectors will be provided. Please bring your presentation on a USB thumb drive.
- Powerpoint Slides: Ensure slides are readable from a distance.
- Handouts: If you would like copies made to hand out, please send them to Kevin at info@mogia.org by October 1, 2024.
On the Day of Your Presentation
- Arrival Time: Arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled presentation time to check in and test equipment.
- Backup Plan: We recommend having a backup of your presentation on a second USB drive and/or cloud storage.
- Assistance: Technical support will be available throughout the conference. Contact the support team if you encounter any issues.
Thank you for contributing to the MoGIA Conference. We look forward to your insightful and engaging presentation.
All conference participants are expected to adhere to the MoGIA Code of Conduct.
